Welcome to 31abunch Lifestyle Photography

Hi! My name is Mark DeGraffenreid and even though you probably don't know me personally if you've lived in Oklahoma in the past ten years you've seen my work.

Since I have moved into my own studio I've been taking a long look at my past experience to develop a style which truly reflects my personality and my vision of what lifestyle photography means to me.

Many photographers define lifestyle photography as "photojournalistic." Well, when I worked as a photojournalist I don't ever recall anyone ever telling me my work looked particually photojournalistic. The reason being is because there is really no such thing. You could more accurately define lifestyle as shallow depth-of-field and interesting camera angles and composition coupled with a keen eye for light. And to me, light truly is truly the key to lifestyle.

Recently, I've been experimenting with the integration of photography and technology to develop a unique and personally, meaningful style of modern portraiture.
